building scalable web
Daniël Klabbers has a long history in building Laravel applications for small to enterprise businesses. Entrepreneur by heart and widespread experience grants clients access to implementation, improvements and consultation in scalability, devops and programming.
Daniël took a 20-year-old forum and dragged it into the 21st century, and the results have been remarkable. Faster site, higher SEO ranking, improved revenue, and seamlessly incorporated the many features that our demanding community requested. It’s very rare to come across a standout talent like Daniël!
Daniël was instrumental in helping us to get our new community platform up and running under considerable time pressure. Prompt and knowledgeable responses to all questions, no matter how complicated, and always open to suggestions on ways to improve the platform - Daniël made our development so much easier.
Active and past projects for free and profit.
A group of people in love with Flarum joined up in their shared goal of growing the Flarum ecosystem with a reliable, scalable hosting partner as well as guarantee a higher level of sustainability for the project. Blomstra ("flourish" in Icelandic) was founded soon after.
As co-founder in this startup we share responsibility over our open source tooling kubernetes, CI/CD stack with a front-facing Laravel application backed by several tools including Keycloak and Zammad.
Having felt the burden of maintaining Flarum extensions under the flagrow team (since folded) eventually brought about Extiverse. A platform to list not just Flarum extensions enriched with Flarum compatibility, but also offer extension developers to build extensions for profit.
Empowering extension developers in becoming sustainable and community webmasters to better manage their communities is the ambition of the Extiverse universe.
Having discovered this project back in 2015, creating an awesome, free community framework out of Flarum has been my top priority ever since. In 2019 the original owner stepped down and I took the lead in formalising a non-profit foundation, strengthening the project team as well as push us closer to stable together with extremely passionate open source enthousiasts.
Currently I am involved as project leader and Flarum Foundation chairman.
